Aman Ghei, Principal, Finch Capital
Aman is a Principal. He joined Orange Growth Capital (now Finch Capital) from Nordeus, one of Europe’s leading mobile game developers, where he started their London studio and was a product manager for new titles and Top Eleven, a game played by 150m users. Prior to Nordeus, Aman was at Facebook, where he led efforts in their mobile partnerships, distribution and ad network initiatives. Before joining Facebook, Aman was an investor with Accel Partners, where he was actively involved in various technology investments including Spotify, HouseTrip and Hailo. He was also a board observer at Supercell and Space Ape Games. Aman started his career at Credit Suisse, where he was part of their global technology group and was involved in various technology transactions including Ogone, a leading pan European PSP, as well as IPOs and capital market transactions for Interxion, NXP and Nokia.
Henry Mason, Investor, Dawn Capital
Henry is an investor at Dawn Capital, and previously he worked in consultancy for clients in financial services and the public sector. Dawn is the largest B2B fund in Europe, focused on SaaS and FinTech at Series A/B; the FinTech portfolio includes iZettle, Property Partner and Sonovate. Within FinTech Henry covers a wide range of opportunities – not only things that disrupt traditional financial institutions, but also things that support incumbents and enable them to remain competitive.
Chad West, Chief Marketing Officer, Revolut
Chad has extensive experience in helping to scale up reputation and growth at some of Europe’s leading tech startups. Prior to heading up Global Communications at Revolut, Chad led on PR & Marketing activities at Rocket Internet, which includes brands such as HelloFresh, Delivery Hero and Helpling and earlier worked in central government for various communication and policy teams.
Tiffany Young, Investment Associate, Pentech
Tiffany is an Investment Associate at Pentech, an early stage software venture capital fund. Now onto its’ £90m fund III, Pentech invests at seed and seed + stage across the UK and has recently invested in GTN, Lifebit Biotech, Digital Fineprint and TravelNest. Prior to joining Pentech, Tiffany was part of the founding investment team at AllBright, a funding, education and support network for female founders. She has also worked in the investment team at BGF and on the trading floor in equity sales at Citi Bank. She is a member of Founders of the Future, born out of Founders Forum and is an alumnus of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation. Tiffany is passionate about elevating women in business and founded the blog Breakfast with Tiffany which profiles inspiring female founders and investors in a series of interviews www.breakfastwithtiffany.co.uk. Tiffany holds a first-class BA in Economics from Durham University.
Ben Brabyn, Head of Level39
Ben Brabyn, Head of Level39, launched his first digital business in 2001. The world’s first crowdfunding business, Bmycharity combined payments, social networking and data analytics, enabling 800,000 donors to deliver more than £50 million to UK charities. The business was sold to Help for Heroes, the leading charity for British service men and women.
Shortly afterwards, Ben survived a brain tumour while launching his next digital business, an e-commerce site, and also advised various energy, healthcare and social media businesses on strategy, finance and business development. After this, Ben worked for the UK government as of COO of UK Trade and Investment’s Venture Capital Unit, leading a team of VC and sector specialists. The unit established relationships between global investors and a wide range of UK entrepreneurial businesses.
Christopher Steinau, Investment Manager, Northzone
Christopher joined Northzone in 2016. His area of interest are marketplaces and businesses with a strong mobile proposition, and he works with companies like Personio, FreightHub, and LEMONCAT.
Before joining Northzone, Christopher co-founded Uncover, the award-winning app enabling London diners to discover and book the city’s most desirable restaurants. Building the company was a lesson in doing things fast, and with focus. After having acquired hundreds of thousand users and generated millions in revenues for their restaurants, the team exited to Velocity. Before becoming a full-time Londoner, Christopher worked in banking at the Deutsche Bank and Sal. Oppenheim in Germany. There, he developed a love for numbers and saw first-hand the effects of the economic cycles. In his spare time, Christopher is a keen kite surfer, although a London lifestyle means opportunities to get on his board are not as frequent as he’d like.
Christopher holds an MBA from the London Business School and a Diplom-Kaufmann from the EBS, Wiesbaden.
