Vijay Rathour, Partner, Grant Thornton
Vijay leads our Digital and Forensic Technologies Group, overseeing and providing expert consultancy on a range of technological challenges.
He has managed data breaches ranging from limited but highly sensitive losses of data by governmental agencies to the theft of over $100 million. Vijay works at the interface of legal and technical teams, providing strategic guidance and crisis management, regularly reporting to Boards and oversight committees.
Vijay is an ethical hacker and enjoys a role on the Committee of the Cybercrime Practitioners Association. He is also engaged by the Ministry of Justice to re-draft the Civil Procedure Rules on Electronic Disclosure and Investigative techniques for the modern era.
Mariella Thanner, Co-founder and COO, CyberSmart
Prior to starting CyberSmart, Mariella worked as a cyber security consultant specialising in compliance and data protection. Mariella is passionate about redefining compliance and is an advocate for female founders.
Jamie Akhtar, Co-founder and CEO, CyberSmart
Jamie’s obsession with technology started at a young age, he has been building and breaking things since he could turn on a computer. He’s built over 100 web applications, served as the CTO of several organisations and wears a white hat as an ethical hacker.
