    Ben Carter, Investment Manager, Deepbridge Capital

    Ben is Investment Manager within the Life Sciences team at Deepbridge. Prior to this role, Ben had been the managing director of Touchpoint Service and commercial director of Telmenow, the healthcare equipment focussed e-commerce platform. Ben has also been chief commercial officer at NOw Healthcare Group, a leading telemedicine provider with its Dr Now app. With a BA (Hons) in Management from the University of Manchester, Ben was also previously commercial director at Possum, market leaders in the provision, installation and support of many types of electronic assistive technology.

    Ben Kaye, Business Development Manager, Spotcap UK

    Ben is Spotcap UK’s business development manager, nurturing partnerships with accountants, growth hubs and financial advisers. His expertise in sourcing finance has benefited small businesses based all across the UK.

    Jerry Gilbert, Commercial Director, ArchOver

    Jerry Gilbert is ArchOver’s Commercial Director and will be joined by his colleague Duncan Maybury.ArchOver provides secured, fixed-rate loans to growing, viable SMEs. Our loans start at £250,000 and the largest loan we have provided to date is £4.2m. We look to the receivables for our security and do not take personal guarantees. The majority of ArchOver’s loans are secured against the debtor book, certified work in progress or contracted recurring revenue. We are flexible and, once engaged, work closely with clients to achieve their growth goals. ArchOver is FCA-regulated, has facilitated lending of over £75m to date and is part of the long-established Hampden Group. ArchOver is not sector specific and are here to help SMEs.

    Jon Wyles, Chartered Surveyor, Exponential Advisers

    Jon is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years commercial property experience. In 2004, Jon founded Smart Storage Ltd. He has spent eight years as CEO creating and developing Smart Storage into one of the premier independent self storage companies in North West England. In 2013, Jon relocated to Vancouver, Canada and founded Harrington Wyles Consulting Ltd. Since then he has founded Stop and Store Ltd Canada and USA and since returning to the UK in 2018, he has now set up Exponential Advisers, a business consultancy advising accelerated growth businesses. He continues to run Stop and Store and is acquiring for UK locations.

    Kimberly Martin, Prinicipal, Boost and Co.

    Kimberly joined BOOST&Co in March 2018 as a Principal in the Investment Team and is responsible for meeting great businesses and developing debt financing solutions to help them achieve their growth ambitions. Kim has over ten years experience in UK SME venture capital and private equity, with investment roles at Aberdeen Asset Management, Maven Capital Partners and most recently, Puma Investment Management.

    Tom Smith, Partnerships Manager, Crowdcube

    Tom manages Crowdcube's network of partners across the UK and spends time developing programmes that help companies have success in raising investment, through the mechanism of crowdfunding.
