I am a consulting actuary with experience in both the life and pensions sectors. More recently I have also undertaken some less traditional roles, utilising my actuarial skills to support a range of banking clients to remediate customers impacted by legal and regulatory breaches, including as part of a Skilled Persons review.
For the last few years, I have been working with a leading UK bank on a large-scale remediation project, heading up the calculation workstream. We helped guide the bank through the project from the initial identification of breaches and quantifying their financial impact to reviewing its remediation approach and implementing it into a model to calculate fair customer compensation.
I have a passion for working in these non-traditional areas as using our actuarial skillset we can really add value to our clients by showing them new and different ways to tackle their challenges.
