Having decided I wanted to be a chartered accountant at the age of 18, I joined a large professional services firm as a school leaver in 1997. However I decided in 2012 to move to Grant Thornton where I am now an audit partner working in our Birmingham office but with many clients based in London.
I am a Public Interest audit partner with a range of main market, AIM and large private clients in sectors ranging from retail, construction and IT with a particular focus on long term contracts.
Having previously been Head of Audit for our Birmingham office, I am now a member of our Audit Leadership Team with responsibility for our national Public Interest Team ensuring that we deliver outstanding quality audits across our client base and am extremely proud of our record in recent FRC inspections.
Outside of work I have two daughters and find time to go to the gym. I am also an Aston Villa season ticket holder and try and make most home games!
