I head up and lead our private equity sponsor coverage efforts nationally. Having completed an MBA where I specialised in venture capital and private equity, I have unique experience working both for private equity and advisory firms, and can see and appreciate both sides of the transaction.
My role primarily involves building relationships with private equity firms and other capital providers – including institutional funds, family offices and sovereign wealth funds across the UK, Europe and the US – and creating value for both firm and clients. I have a large network of over 250 private equity funds internationally, ensuring our clients have access to both our industry specialist and globally dispersed professionals.
I also work closely with our senior leadership and marketing team to strategies and deliver on our strategic marketing plans for Private Equity at Grant Thornton. I started our Private Equity podcast series and our half year and annual private equity reviews with help and support of our marketing team. As our Private Equity business grows, we have exciting plans so watch this space.
Outside work I have a passion for travelling and exploring new cultures. I've visited six continents and have a real desire to visit Antarctica one day with my son. I play cricket and tennis, and recently completed my first triathlon.
